NEI+ PRESIDENT VISITS NCCE MANAGEMENT



The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) Prof. Bappa Aliyu Muhammadu on the 22nd of July, 2019 receive in audience the president and C. E. O. Creative Associates International, and Nigeria Stake holding partner, Northern Education Initiative Plus, NEI+ Mr. Leland Kruvant on a courtesy visit in Abuja.

Mr. Kruvant accompanied by NEI+ Chief of Party Dr. Jordene Hale and other top Management staff said the purpose of the visit is to show appreciation on the role NCCE has been playing in ensuring that the Nigerian child is able to read, first in the mother tongue and secondly in English Language which is Nigeria’s second language. He added that it is a huge privilege working with NCCE in the pursuant of NEI+ goals and objectives in Nigeria.







On his part the Executive Secretary NCCE Prof Bappa Aliyu Muhammadu appreciates Mr. Kruvant and his team for the visit assuring that NCCE will continue to render its support through effective partnership with NEI+ in Nigeria. He explained that NCCE being the mother to all teacher training institutions has establish a model Early Grade Reading Resource Centre to serve as a guide to Colleges of Education in Nigeria. Prof. Bappa Aliyu however seeks for intervention from Mr. Kruvant to equip the resource Centre with state of the art materials as well as IT facilities in other to make it a model per excellence that it was designed to be.

Earlier, the President and CEO, Creative Associate International, Mr. Leland Kruvant promised that the Management of his Associates International will assist in developing the Model Early Grade Reading Resource Centre as solicited and applauded the mile-stone achievement by NCCE in establishing the Centre.

Meanwhile, highlight of the visit was presentation of implementation storage drive containing all activities of NEI+ to the ES as well as inspection of NCCE Early Grade Reading Centre located in NCCE headquarter Abuja.
